Sample Past Projects

Over the past few years, I've gotten the chance to work with some pretty cool brands, from a comedy production company expanding their social and digital media reach to brands you've seen on your feeds who are looking for social media-friendly ways to get their word out. Often, due to the nature of the work, that's as much as I can say here, but as always, more to come ... Please check out my About page for my resume. Feel free to contact me for further info or a sample video of me pitching a scripted project.

  • Received and completed my first combined writing-photojournalism assignments. I feel grateful to have been able to build upon my KTLA experience with a handful of UCLA Extension journalism classes. In cultivating my growth, I pitched covering the West Hollywood and Los Angeles Pride musical events to Music Connection Magazine, a publication widely read in the music industry:

    • At WeHo Pride OUTLOUD Music Festival, I got to cover queer rapper Princess Nokia, indie pop band Passion Pit and "Call Me Maybe" maestro Carly Rae Jepsen.

    • At LA Pride in the Park, I covered Megan Thee Stallion, the diva herself Mariah Carey as well as a whole bunch of other silliness.

  • Created scripts for approval, compiled footage, adjusted audio and added music for recent sizzle reels for clients of Michael Ceraso at Winning Margins via Olsen Ebright at Newsworthy, LLC in order to increase on-camera news opportunities for leaders and experts in their fields:

    • Karundi Williams, Executive Director of re:power (2023) - Contact me for reel

    • Dr. Aimy Steele, spearheads The New North Carolina Project (2022)

    • Erika Seth Davies, CEO of Rhia Ventures (2022)

  • Sizzle reel for KTLA's "Off the Clock" streaming-turned-broadcast show (compiled in 2021):

    • In my time at the station, the KTLA+ app — for which I oversaw master control and its content — generated substantial revenue. This sizzle reel was created to attract paid spots for the app. In addition to creating the reel, I was the director/technical director for the streaming-turned-broadcast show. Responsibilities included all technical elements including creating daily show graphics (for which I wrote a joke a day); uploading all video and show elements to GRAPHITE; configuring the set; camera, mic and technical care and troubleshooting; speaking on-mic occasionally; live audio mixing and live switching. I would also make necessary edits and create captions before uploading to the website and the KTLA+ ENCO master control. Additionally, I was responsible for clipping and writing copy for guest and other special segments for the website and app. On broadcast, we were regularly the number-one talk show in our time slot for the local Los Angeles area, beating celebrity-hosted shows.
